KATHRYN SHAW

Kathryn Shaw is a contemporary artist and photographer in Ottawa, Canada, exploring themes of nostalgia, loss, human-environment interaction, and memory through a feminist lens. Kathryn's work draws from brutalism, modernism, and retrofuturism, as well as her multicultural upbringing, and inspirations from fantasy and technology.

Kathryn holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph. She earned a Diploma of Fine Art in 2024. Her work has been exhibited in Canada, the US, the UK and online.
